Arts And Culture

Palava has a unique focus on integrating various forms of arts and culture into everyday life of its citizens. We believe that participation in the arts is central to creating a vibrant, engaged and enriched community. We are committed to supporting a wide range of activities throughout the year that include:

• Opportunities to experience local, national and international art forms through a variety of performances, workshops, demonstrations and other events.
• High-quality instruction in multiple disciplines of fine and performing art forms – both for the professional as well as the hobby aspirant.
• Creation of art installations to enrich the public realm.

We engage with diverse artists, art institutions, cultural organizers, researchers and academicians to create meaningful partnerships and unique programming that enriches the public experience of arts within Palava. We support:

1.Learning

We partner with high quality art institutions to offer the best training in performing and visual arts to the city.

2. Workshops

We host unique experiences for citizens to explore, learn, interact and have fun. Our workshops cover a wide range of activities such as Creative Photography, Aero-modelling, Lantern-Making, Rangoli, Story-telling, Book-Reading and many more.

3. Performances/Events

We host renowned artists in the fields of dance, music, theatre and visual arts.

4. Public Art at Palava

We collaborate with a number of artists from the region to create public art that cultivates a sense of belonging within the community.

5. Community Clubs

We support community clubs led by citizens of Palava. Urban Farming Club is active. Literary Club Coming Soon!
